In Memory of Elaine Parry

Elaine Parry was a long-time FCA prayer team member, board member, volunteer, donor and advocate who passed away in June of 2017. Elaine also served for many years at Linn-Mar High School, where she helped establish FCA. Her Christ-like example of service, along with loving and praying for others, left a lasting mark on all who knew her.

The “Elaine Parry FCA Scholarship Award” is presented to 5 selected outstanding student-athlete across Eastern Iowa area who are pursuing a college degree. Students are nominated by a Huddle Coach and then must submit an essay for consideration.

Elaine Parry Scholarship recipients are senior student athletes that have participated in a recognized school sport. They have actively served in their local FCA huddle, are a person of positive influence on the school campus, and have demonstrated FCA’s core values of integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence. All nominees are submitted by FCA Huddle Coaches.
